The Glide theme is available from Jonathan Head at NimbleHost.

The instructions are as follows:
Make your Bannerzest banner the correct size. The following may help:

Create your BannerZest banner the same width as the page width you select for your project. Also, make sure to match the banner height that you select in the Styles menu within Rapidweaver.

Publish the site and reveal the HTML

Publish the Bannerzest theme to its place on your server and select "Show HTML" (see Publish at right)

Copy Bannerzest's code to the clipboard

When you click this button, you'll be presented with another window (see Copy at right)

Use Textwrangler to open index.html
TextWrangler

Now we have the necessary code copied to our clipboard. This theme allows us two methods for inserting the necessary code.

Method1>>>> The final step is to open the theme's index.html file with the text editor you've selected and paste the code in the correct location. To open this file, right click the theme in Rapidweaver's theme drawer, choose " Reveal Theme Contents In Finder...". This will present you with a folder called "Contents". Open it and you will find the index.html file. Right click on this file and navigate to your chosen text editor application. In this example I chose TextWrangler. (see Textwrangler at right)

Paste here

Scroll through the code until you find a place that matches that shown in the photo (see Paste here at right) The code you copied from Bannerzest is still on your clipboard. You want to paste it in the right spot. Place your cursor right after the pageBanner div and paste in the code from Bannerzest by either choosing edit>Paste from TextWrangler's menu or simply by pressing the Apple-v key combination (command-v). Now that your code is inserted, save the file and view the results. NOTE: Do not enable extraContent areas 1, 2 or 3 if using this method. Jonathan even put a note inside the index.html file to remind you of this! (What a guy!)

paste ec code here
EC Code

Method2>>>> The final step in this method is to paste the BannerZest code into the snippet of code for extra content area 1 (see EC Code at right) In my example I've pasted it in the sidebar field. You can also paste it in the content field. Regardless of where you paste it, highlight the EC snippet code and the BannerZest code and apply Format > Ignore Formatting (cmd period). (That is what creates the pinkish shading in the image at the right). Also, you need to enable extraContent area 1 in the styles menu! Do NOT enable EC areas 2 or 3 with this method!

Ok, that about covers it. Our thanks to Jonathan for considering the BannerZest users when creating this theme!

Remember, when you use this technique and publish your site, send me a link so I can put your site in the showcase!

Two ways to insert the banner... choice is good! ... It doesn't get much easier than this!
